Today I will just do a light post as according to our statistic; on weekends usually the number of visitors to Saifulsham.com will drop to as much as 25%. This gives a hint on the SaifulSham.com readers. From our study, we conclude that majority of SaifulSham.com readers are young, working professionals, who surf the internet at office during “work time”. Ahaxz… ;)

Do you remember a post of mine about statistic and how much it can tell us some time ago?

And, using the targeted visitor statistic to SaifulSham.com we are able devise a traffic blueprint around that. Our promotion objective is to reach these people during their lunch hour and 9-12 pm when they are most likely in front of their computer.

How?

Sorry ma’am. Trade secrets. ;)

Just be sure of this, although we are young, we are old hands at Internet Marketing. It’s our forte. We know what works, what not. We don’t leave things to chance.

Sorry if this promotions a bit too much for you, but, remember to buy our book this March. We are no first timer just looking for a guinea pig. Our system works. ;)

We don’t talk, the result speaks for itself. (just A CHAPTER out of THE WHOLE BOOK)

Empirical Proof (click here) <- Newbie take weeks, Team SaifulSham.com (and you too if you want) take just 5 days.

Next, I just met Mya yesterday. She is our quality control from the layman department. Ahaxz.. I asked her, being a layman (laywoman to be politically correct), does she understand what SaifulSham.com is all about and does she find the articles helpful?

She said yes. And she comment, "Best, ayat sedap & menarik tapi macam budak-budak"

Aha, she got our message. SaifulSham.com brand is young, brilliant and we mean business.

That's our selling point.

I can brag more about SaifulSham.com philosophy, but let not torture our loyal, hard core readers with that. (who sit in front of computers during weekends- get a life dude! hehe) ;)

Let's talk about Malaysian and internet business. Are we ready?

When we start our internet business two years ago, it's lacking and wanting. The whole system are chaos. For example (sharing, not condeming) when the first time we go to "XXX" courier company to ship an order to a customer from US, we are charged RM50+ (forgot the exact amount, too many transactions have taken place after that)

So did on our second visit.

But during our third visit (shipping the same thing to USA) the price shot up to RM120+

Why?

The clerk in charge never experience handling package sent to US before, so she used "document rates" as opposed to "parcel rates" as it should be.

But now, she is wiser and she is ready.

Then, let's talk about POS Malaysia. When we want to cash a Western Union Money Order there, the officers in charge ask, "What is this? I don't know. Wait, I will find someone who knows" (I have to go to BCB as it seems nobody can confidently tell me what will they do with that Money order)

But now, when I enquire again at the same post office the same question. The customer service officer (seated at the table) ask, "Do you bring the money order? It can be cashed instantly" in a very enthusiastic and confident manner that startled me.

Another good thing about Pos Malaysia is, they have upgraded their system.

Two years back, if I want to ship an order to customer using their service, I can just pray the package are not lost during transit and wished that customers never asked about the tracking number. (in US due to their advance progress in Ecommerce, buyer usually can check their order progress when it leaves the seller's store, where is it now, etc... via online tracking facilities, it's a standard.)

But now, Pos Malaysia have also provided the much needed Online Parcel Tracking service at their website. (although it take days for the record to be added) And they can only get better.

Kudos Pos Malaysia.

And then, there are Malaysian customers. Are they ready?

Thanks to Lelong.com.my who started the online shopping experience for Malaysian, and after that fuelled by AirAsia.com entry into ecommerce, the market are going towards the readiness state.

Are we ready?

It's a wild theory, but personally for me, I believe Malaysian lag 10 years behind US in ecommerce. Noting that ecommerce activities in US boomed in 1997, I believe next year ecommerce will spread it wings in Malaysia and soar high.

Time will tell...
