shuth - iphone ne di-unlock guna software commercial berbayar (iphonesimfree.com).it is by far the most reliable software unlock - support restore function (in case hp jam).kebanyakan iphone len diunlock pakai software percuma (xsupport restore - risiko tinggi utk iphone di-relock balik).
Lagi,iphonesimfree jamin update utk software percuma (jika ada) utk support firmware upgrade yg baru.
kelemahan iphone nie xde 3g kalau ade kan best. complete!
Shuth, yg harga tu selalunya untuk 4Gb.
Oh ye, actually ada byk sebab yg mempengaruhi faktor harga.
Mcm shuth ckp, shuth dptkn dari sesetengah tmpt pd harga rm1500. Kita tgk pula perisian apa yg digunakan iphone tersebut.

sebenar iphone unlock ni banyak risiko…kalau nak puas hati beli yg original dan ada support…saya dah guna yg unlock iphone ni..setakat ni banyak juga masalah…tapi boleh solve sendiri…jadi sebelum beli kena mahirkan dulu bab2 teknikal ni.
wert - Sy rasa incoming kol x boleh sbb dia x fully unlock.Waktu awal unlock dahulu b4 full software keluar activation unlock hanya boleh menggunakan ipod dan wifi shj.Sekarang ne dah fully unlock.

Ada masalah sikit sebenarnya, sebab Iphone 20 unit
yang kami tempah hari tu dah habis. Terlebih lagi,
memang demand agak banyak lah
Kami plan nak ambil stok lagi, tapi ada beberapa
masalah yang buat kami stop dulu~exp di bawah. (nanti kalau kami ambil lagi kami akan announce lagi)

Apple baru update firmware iphone latest version.Skang nie sume iphone yg jual kt US pakai update baru ne.so far update baru ne xleh di-relock lagi.
Skrg sumer price Iphone lamer yang belum upgrade dah increase price. (supplier kami pun increasekan price juga)
Jadi kalau kita boleh tunggu Iphone baru ni di crack, harga akan turun balik. Jadi kami nak tunggu time tu sebab tak nak kena “gotcha” waktu stock banyak kat tangan.

This is local Maxis’s cell tower issue that has need to be patch by their engineers. It doesn’t have any problem for incoming calls when you’re roaming with Maxis oversea.

Yes,while most of what u said were right but there are certain things you must consider.
We are just aware of the maxis incoming call problem but from an email sent from maxis customer support they said maxis will soon fix the problem which as you said was from their side.This problem also occurred with telecom indonesia but I was informed their telecom provider already fixed the problem.
Then,about the self-unlock,true you can always learn how to unlock it through various sources on net but hey I can say that only 10% of the customers are ‘power customers’.While I’m sure that you are one of the power customer based on ur nick Mac Geek, the fact is the rest are just ordinary customers who cant afford to do the ‘cuba jaya’ method.Even the iPhone Dev Team received their funding through donations to support their activities.Yup, thanks to them but again you dont think anyone can do it do you?
Well, about the IPSF they improved the iPhone Dev Team solution to create a more user friendly UI and people pay for that and their after-sale support.You can always choose to use the free solution should you wish.
As for the 3G I do agree it will consumes lots of energy which means shorter battery life.Even wifi usage consumes lots of power.But again it’s just a wish from customers who depend on high speed internet connection on-the-go.Lets just hope that Apple can include this function and improve their device in their 2nd gen iphone or maybe most of us could wait a little longer for the Google’s biggest alliance of the dreamed Androids
I think maxis will never fix the problem till iphone officially launch in malaysia. rumors said that maxis will 2 years contract with iphone.

Farid, 1.1.2 Out Of Box (OTB) couldnt be unlock at the moment because Apple has shipped the iPhone with the new bootloader which is 4.6 from China. By the way, the new exploit has found. Stay tuned
